Sweet Scolecite comes to us from India, a gentle and compassionate stone that ushers in patient, loving kindness. Considered one of the “Synergy 12” stones, this shimmery white crystalline ally is one of serenity and relaxation. It brings balance to the heart and crown chakras, opening receptivity to familial and ancestral healing. Scolecite is a wonderful sleep-aid stone, promoting restful sleep, in addition to helping us interpret and glean insights from our dreams and spirit guides during our dream state. Scolecite may be peaceful and serene, but don’t let it’s gentleness fool you: this is a stone of the bigger picture, seeing the world, space, time, and our existence here on this planet from a higher vantage point. Scolecite reminds us of all that was and all that will be, keeping the biggest perspective in mind and as go about our daily lives.

In the SHIVA LINGAM shape, these stones bring harmony and balance to the dual nature of the masculine and feminine - both of which reside in each of us. This sacred shape symbolizes the unity of the feminine and masculine. The curved and represents the phallus (for which “Lingam” is the Sanskrit word), and the egg shape within represents the feminine, the cosmic egg from which all life emerged. In India, this is the divine union between Shiva and Kali, and the result of that union. All stones and crystals in our shop have been cleansed with our natural mountain spring water (except for those that may dissolve in water, such as selenite) and have been smudged with organic white sage, harvested sustainably and produced fairly.
