In Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist traditions the Dorje (in Tibetan) or Vajra (in Sanskrit) represents the “Thunderbolt of enlightenment,” that sudden shift in human consciousness where we remember who we are, when we awaken from the dream that is life. It’s name translates to weapon, diamond, Sumter, or Wray, because the sacred shape cuts through negative influences and distractions, to usher in compassion, wisdom, and understanding of the Relative Truth (our daily muggle lives) and the Absolute Truth (the state of being in union with all things) and the distinction between the two. Along with the bell, the Dorje is an indispensable ritual tool, worked with in ceremony and representing the balance between the feminine (Bell) and the masculine (Dorje), the ultimate spiritual dynamic.

I am immensely proud to make accessible to you these hand carved deities and figures, directly from India, through a source that I work closely with personally on each and every piece! Many skilled stone artisans in India work for very little pay or compensation - in harsh conditions - and both the Crystal Lion and our partner in India are working to change that. It’s a joy to share with you that the artisans are fairly treated and paid FAIR WAGES for their beautiful (and hard) work. Not only that, but so much love goes into their art - you can both SEE it and FEEL it! You can purchase our carvings with confidence, knowing your pieces have a high vibration and a fair footprint...and have been minimally handled (by the artist, their packer, and myself) before coming to you for their magical work!

ABOUT CLEAR QUARTZ
CLEAR QUARTZ is the megaphone of the crystal world, amplifying and enhancing energies around it, including and especially, other crystals. In this way, it is a bit of a sponge, too. Clear quartz transmutes negative energies, turning it into something usable and positive. It's grounding, uplifting, and spiritual all at once. It is a "mimic" of other stones, and you can "program" it to capture the properties of other stones, thereby enhancing even the smallest tumbled stone. Clear Quartz works with and aligns all of the chakras, clears the aura and resonates with every sign of the zodiac. If you collect any one stone, let it be clear quartz! It is so flexible in its energy, pure in its intention, and reliable in its healing and amplification abilities; it's one of my absolute favorites and it's the stone I collect the most. It's my personal opinion that you can't ever have too much clear quartz!

All stones and crystals in our shop have been cleansed with our natural mountain spring water (except for those that may dissolve in water, such as selenite) and have been smudged with organic white sage, harvested sustainably and produced fairly.
Please note that crystals, minerals and fossils are a natural product and are rarely perfect. I do my best to capture each side of each piece in the photos. They are creations of Mother Nature that have weathered the elements and more for untold number of years, and I cannot guarantee perfection or perfect points. These are natural objects.
