Here at the Crystal Lion, we have a very, very special connection to this amazing crystal, and a direct line to the source. Auralite 23 is mined in one location in the world - the “Cave of Wonders” mine in the Boreal Forest, north of Thunder Bay, Canada. This is NOT Super Seven - we love Super 7 but they are different minerals from very different localities (and completely different continents!). The two names are often used interchangeably, but be informed about what you purchase: Auralite 23 is quite rare, mined by a father-son duo in one location. This is special material and we’re so excited to bring it to you!
ABOUT “AURALITE 23”
The pieces offered in the Crystal Lion shop are incredibly special - and these beauties are no exception! Auralite 23 is first and foremost a type of Amethyst, and the other primary components are citrine, quartz, and a rare form of metamicted green quartz. It may contain up to 23 other mineral compounds, as the name suggests (some of those minerals include: hematite, magnetite, pyrite, iron, silver, covellite, geothite, limonite, tanite, chalcopyrite, epidot, bornite, copper, rutile, chromium and/or nickel, and several others). As such, these amazing stones contain the energetic and metaphysical properties of EVERY MINERAL that comprises it. These are POWERHOUSE crystals! No other gem or mineral on planet Earth is this densely packed with a variety of minerals or is this potent of a crystal healer.
Truly, Auralite 23 has seemingly endless metaphysical and spiritual properties. There is barely anything this stone DOESN'T do! It's increasingly popular among those in the metaphysical community because of its calming, soothing, and intuitive properties. It is called The Stone of Awakening, and, according to the New Age communities, has many ties to a larger spiritual consciousness that is currently occurring. All stones and crystals in our shop have been cleansed with our natural mountain spring water (except for those that may dissolve in water, such as selenite) and have been smudged with organic white sage, harvested sustainably and produced fairly.
